My name is Faith Tabak, and I am currently a Public Relations student in the Moody College of Communication at the University of Texas in Austin. I began my studies in 2015 in order to pursue a career in helping companies maintain their brand’s distinct image and stay up-to-date in this fast-paced era.
This past year, I have worked as a Consumer Intern at Cohn & Wolfe specifically on the SONIC Drive-In account. There, I mainly focused on tactics such as writing press releases, making media lists, and pitching, as well as in-depth research for many projects on the account. Thanks to my other internship opportunities as well as extracurricular, I have a strong interest and experience in both digital and traditional methods. I’m a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America as well as Texas Tower, a student run PR firm. I’ve also done work with TSTV, a student run broadcasting station, in order to fulfill my vast interests in the communications field.
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, I have continuously dedicated my time towards enhancing my writing and communication skills. Outside of the workplace, I enjoy volunteering, playing the piano, dancing, traveling, and reading books that stimulate the mind and creative thinking.
I am very interested in working in Public Relations or Publicity. Explore my personal page to learn more.
